I—Introduction
Wookmama exists because we’re a little obsessed with natural materials handled with real design intent. That obsession grew into a creative platform celebrating the designers and makers behind it. We curate their work on Instagram, occasionally produce documentaries, and publish books.
We’re an independent family business, doing the thing we love: Julien Derreveaux and Zari Melendez, Franco-Puertorican parents of two, living in a quiet village in Northern France. Julien is an award-winning graphic designer and artist (visit julienderreveaux.co), Zari is an architect, CG artist, and landscape designer. Together, we put our design backgrounds to work on something that’s true to our heart.

III—Publications
"OFWOOD—The Ultimate Material in Contemporary Design" is our first publication: a tribute to the designers, artists, and makers who craft wood with a contemporary aesthetic. The book takes us on a journey around the world, presenting hundreds of furniture pieces, objects, and artwork, all designed by today's masters. We made it slowly, deliberately, with care. Much like the objects inside it. 212 pages, 210 × 285 mm, Swiss binding, vegetal ink, FSC-certified paper. A percentage of every sale contributes to remove CO₂ from the atmosphere. Available on September 1st.
