La Coupole

La Coupole is one of the most impressive historical monuments of World War II in Europe. The first German underground V2 rocket launch base, the site was rehabilitated in 1997 and became a complex that today includes a History and Memory Center, a Resource and Research Center, and a 3D Planetarium.

Since its launch, La Coupole had been operating without a proper graphic identity, with several individual logos and numerous typefaces. In 2024, we approached them with a proposal focused primarily on harmonizing the Museum’s visual communication.

We proposed a new visual identity based on a balance between the historical and the contemporary, with the color palette drawn from the site’s universe. The modular logo includes a curve, symbolizing the dome, the 3D planetarium, or even the trajectory of a rocket. The ambition, beyond strengthening its image, is to equip La Coupole with visual communication more in line with what the place is today, what it offers, and the values it conveys.
